Insulation Installation Instructions

1. Place Foilboard^® Floor Saddles over the top of floor joists at 600mm apart.
2. Measure distance between the joists (inside edge) and mark out appropriate size sections.
3. Cut the sheet into strips to fit using a snap blade knife or similar,
4. Place strips of Foilboard^® between joists (sitting on Saddle edge).
5. Do not leave any gaps between board and edge of joist (water based sealant can be used).
6. Ends of joists should be sealed with an off cut or similar to promote a sealed air environment.
7. Tape all joins abutting another sheet.

Instructions are a guideline only and should be interpreted with consideration for the specific building application. All penetrations must be effectively sealed to reduce any risk of damage caused by possible exposure to extreme radiant heat. Alternative installation methods may be implemented. Handling and Storage

It is recommend that if the product is being stored for extended periods it should be kept clean and dry. Any moisture present between sheets should be dried to prevent potential oxidization and must not be stored with either foil surface in contact with any alkaline materials.
