RETROFIT METHOD
Retrofitting existing homes with Foilboard Insulation Panels under timber or steel joists is an effective way to enhance energy efficiency. Full panels are installed for maximum coverage, with all joins sealed using Foilboard Green or Silver Tape to create a continuous thermal barrier. Panels can be secured with Foilboard Blank Plates or with our Standard and Ultra Fasteners, designed specifically for timber (nail fix) or steel (screw fix) applications. This ensures a secure, long-lasting installation that provides year-round comfort.
